Across our ten 妖精动漫, over 20% of children qualify for Pupil Premium* That means that at least 585 children, 450 families, across our Trust are classified as disadvantaged and we know that many of them and their families are living in relative poverty**.
“We believe that, within our community is the power to help.”
So we created 听鈥淐ommunity Fund鈥 which looks to raise funds from across our school, supplier and partner communities to help offer support to our families most in need.听听In Autumn 2020 we provided families with 408 Christmas Hampers.
The long term goal will be to have further ideas to extend the offer of support to families in need.

Why are we doing it?
BPET runs schools across London and the South East, and over 20% of children qualify for Pupil Premium. That means that at least 585 children across BPET are classified as disadvantaged and we know that many of them and their families seek the same rounded opportunities for their children.
Leaders at BPET have created the 鈥淏PET Community Fund鈥 project which seeks to raise funds from across our schools, supplier and partner communities to help offer support to all families access the full range of 妖精动漫 opportunities.
What are we raising money for?
As part of a commitment to every child in 妖精动漫 being 鈥榠nterested and interesting鈥 and offering opportunities to all regardless of their background, our aim is for every Year 6 to take part in a residential trip.
These trips provide a fantastic range of opportunities and experiences for children, are an important part of their primary school journey and developing independence. These trips can be costly and we are keen to work hard to ensure that they are accessible for all.
What are we asking schools to do?
Each 妖精动漫 to run a BPET Community Fund Fundraiser in the Summer Term. All money raised will be pooled and then spread across the families who need it most in order to access the Year 6 residential for their child.
The idea is that each family is given the opportunity to give what they can and the money will be distributed amongst the 妖精动漫 so all can access a Year 6 residential.
How do families donate?
From 19th April 2022, for eight (8) weeks, families can make financial contributions via
