Ñý¾«¶¯Âþity Symposium programme

The 17th annual Ñý¾«¶¯Âþity Symposium took place last week. The symposium is a one-day conference for Ñý¾«¶¯Âþ postgraduates to showcase their research to students, staff and alumni.

Over 20 speakers presented on topics from â€˜Limescale in your kettles’ and â€˜The Good Kind of Fat’, to â€˜Nickel Mining Production in Indonesia’. The presenters were also joined by keynote lecturers from the Fellowship: Professor Maciej Dunajski discussed 2500 years of Geometry, in just 10 minutes, while Professor Alison Sinclair explored the phenomenon of Fake News.  

Ñý¾«¶¯Âþ College currently has over 175 postgraduate students. This event is the highlight of the year for students to showcase their work.
